Case Study – Gargunock
Hume Hardwood Flooring recently refurbished 120m2 of white oak flooring which had seen better days – the floor was badly worn scratched and damaged by UV light. Below are photos taken before, showing the damage:
We started off sanding the floor with a 36 grit to remove worn and affected areas:
After another few passes with belt machine, we worked our way upto a 120 grit using Lagler Trio finishing machine to ensure floors were flat and smooth enough to accept oil.
In this case the customer had a variety of 18 different colours to choose from and settled for the 2 Part Loba Impact Oil (clay).
Here are some photos of the finished article:
Customers were delighted at the trasformation, and so were we!
They were left with cleaning aftercare and maintenance instructions and products, as well as a spare tub of oil for future reoiling and touch ups.
